Generate and share you first document

Embarking on the journey of digital document management can seem daunting at first, especially when you’re navigating a new platform. Whether you’re aiming to streamline your workflow, collaborate more effectively with team members, or simply organize your documents better, mastering the art of creating and sharing documents is essential. This guide is designed to simplify that process for you. By following these detailed steps, you’ll learn how to share and generate your first document on Bounsel with ease. Let’s dive into the process and transform how you manage your documents.

Begin your document creation journey by navigating to Bounsel’s documents page. This is where all your document management activities will start.

To initiate a new document, click on the “New document” button. This is your first step towards creating a document from scratch or uploading an existing one.

A pop-up window will appear prompting you to “Select file.” This is where you can choose an existing file from your computer to upload to Bounsel.

Next, you’ll need to select the type of document you’re uploading. Bounsel offers a variety of document types to cater to your specific needs.

Press “Create new document” to confirm the creation of your new document. This step actualizes your document on the Bounsel platform.

You will then be redirected to the document editor, a powerful tool for editing and customizing your document. A panel on the right side will pop up, where you can manage document access.

To collaborate on your document, click on the “Add users” button. This allows you to grant access to other individuals.

These steps involve selecting and adding individuals who need access to your document. Follow the on-screen instructions to add collaborators.

At this juncture, you can define the role of each person you’re adding to the document, whether as a viewer, editor, or any other predefined role.

Once you’ve configured the roles, click the “Share” button. This action shares the document with the selected individuals, allowing for collaboration.

Congratulations! Your document is now successfully shared and ready for collaboration. You’ve taken a significant step towards efficient document management with Bounsel.
